Creek Public Schools is committed to the High Reliability Schools
framework as created by Marzano Research. Every Deer Creek school has
achieved Levels 1, 2, & 3. Deer Creek Public Schools in the only certified level 3 district in the nation. Additionally, each elementary school in the district has achieved Level 4.

1 addresses the day-to-day operation of a school including evidence of a
safe and collaborative environment for all stakeholders: What are the
rules? How do we work together to make the school run optimally?
- Effective Teaching in Every Classroom: Level 2 addresses the most commonly cited characteristic of effective schools: high-quality instruction in every classroom.
- Guaranteed and Viable Curriculum: Level
3 addresses the issue of a guaranteed and viable curriculum: Can it be
taught in the time available? Is it is being taught in every classroom?
- Standards-Referenced Reporting: Level
4 addresses how well a school’s reporting system identifies specific
subject and grade-level topics as well as each student’s current status
on those topics.
